Waste left uncollected in your yard is a breeding ground for bacteria and disease-carrying pests, and ruins the appearance of your property. Furthermore, dog feces are a significant contributor to ground water pollution. About one-quarter of last year’s sea otter fatalities have been traced to a pair of protozoan parasites, Tosoplasma gondii and Sarcocystis neuroma, which are known to breed in cats and opossums.
